Mavins’ recent investment deal with Kupanda Holdings signed in January.
A deal which according to Tega Oghenejobo, the Chief Operating Officer of Mavin Global allows them to grow and take on more artist unto the label.

Don Jazzy – Marvins President
Michael Collins Ajereh, better known as Don Jazzy, is a Nigerian record producer, singer, songwriter, and entrepreneur.
He co-founded the now-defunct record label he is a justice amadinMo’ Hits Records in 2004. Following the closure of the aforementioned record label, Don Jazzy set up Mavin Records on May 8, 2012.
Following a fall out of the partners at Mo’ Hits Records, D’banj and Don Jazzy, Dr. SID has since signed on to Don Jazzy’s Mavin Records. He also had three songs from his upcoming album featured on a Mavin Records compilation album titled: Solar Plexus.
Dr. Sid recently starred in Moses Inwang’s ‘The Last 3 Digits’. He played an NYSC corp member and a friend to Nonso Diobi in the movie. The movie won the People’s Film Festival’s Best International Film award in Paris, France.
Brother to Don Jazzy, D’PRINCE moved to Mavin Records after the dissolution of Mo’ Hits Records in 2012.
Mavin Records released a compilation album titled Solar Plexus in 2012 and D’PRINCE was part of that project. It included hit singles, “Take Banana” and “Amarachi” which was the lead single.
Hadiza Blell, better known by her stage name Di’Ja, is a Nigerian singer and songwriter. She is currently signed to Mavin Records. In 2009, she released her first single “Rock Steady”, which was nominated for Best Urban/R&B Single at the 2009 Canadian Radio Music Awards. Moreover, she won the Best New Artist award at the 2008 Beat Music Awards.
Di’Ja signed a record deal with Don Jazzy’s Mavin Records. Her first official single under the label was also released that same day. Titled “Yaro”, it is an up-tempo celebration of love and commitment against all odds. Moreover, it infuses Hausa and Krio dialects in honour of her Nigerian and Sierra Leonean roots.
Korede Bello (born 29 February 1996) is a Nigerian singer and songwriter. He signed a record deal with Mavin Records in 2014.
Bello is best known for his hit single “Godwin“, a semi-gospel and pop song which became a national anthem and topped many music charts across Nigeria.
DJ BIG N
DJ Big N is a Nigerian hip hop DJ. As part of Mavin Records, DJ Big N has supported several of the label’s top-billed acts, including supporting Tiwa Savage on her first American tour.
He has released several Mavin themed mixtapes, including the “Mavin All Stars” mixtape, the ‘Surulere Mixtape Volume 1’, and the “ENERGY Mixtape”, among others.
Clinton and Blair Roberts, officially and popularly known as DNA, are identical twin brothers and talented music artists with a natural flair for performance and the arts.
The duo was officially announced as Mavin Records artistes on February 28, 2017, alongside two other talented new signings: Poe and Johnny Drille. Their first official single with the label, “How Can”, which was produced by Don Jazzy, is fast becoming a national anthem of sort among music lovers.
John Ighodaro, better known as Johnny Drille was born and raised in Edo State, Nigeria. He is from a family of seven including a clergy father and mother. He graduated from the University of Benin in 2012 where he majored in English and Literature.
In late 2016 he was nominated at the Headies for Best Alternative Song for ‘Wait For Me’. On February 28, 2017, Johnny Drille was officially announced as a Mavin Records artiste.
Ladipo Eso, better known by his stage name Poe, is a Nigerian rapper and recording artist signed to Mavin Records.
After rising to prominence as an affiliate of rap duo Show Dem Camp, the Lagos-based emcee forged his solo path with fan favorites “Ko Ye Won” and “Gbe Sile”, before becoming a breakout star with hit single “Adore Her”.
Don Jazzy has announced the signing of a new upcoming act, Rema to his Mavin Records.
The Mavin boss made this known via several messages on his social media pages earlier on Friday, March 22, 2019.
In the shared post, Don Jazzy wrote, ”Today another Mavin is Activated.
Mavin/Jonzing is excited to present the newest MAVIN. Rema is a super talented young artist I have no doubt is going to be the future of Afrobeats.”
